The Cure

The Cure adalah sebuah band rock Inggris terbentuk di Crawley, West Sussex pada tahun 1976. Band ini telah mengalami perubahan beberapa line-up, dengan frontman, vokalis, gitaris dan penulis lagu utama Robert Smith menjadi satu-satunya anggota konstan. The Cure pertama mulai merilis musik di akhir 1970-an dengan album debut mereka Tiga Imaginary Boys (1979), hal ini, bersama dengan beberapa single awal, menempatkan band ini sebagai bagian dari punk-pos dan gelombang musik baru yang bermunculan di bangun revolusi punk di Inggris.
